Kerala KSFE Vidyashree Laptop Scheme 2024 is launched by Kerala state government, under KSFE Kerala Laptop scheme government will provide laptops to students belonging to weaker section of the society or the Kudumbashree members.CM Pinarayi Vijayan said the cabinet has approved a project to provide laptops to students through Kerala State Financial Enterprise (KSFE).

The KSFE Vidyashree Scheme 2024 aim to make education more effective in the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic. The scheme launched to ensure online education for students during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kerala KSFE Laptop Scheme 2024 is a micro-finance scheme to funds students for purchasing laptops. Kerala state government will provide laptops worth Rs.15,000 to poor students at an easy instalment of Rs.500 P.M for 30 months under KSFE Vidyashree Laptop Scheme.

Kerala KSFE Laptop scheme will help about 2.65 lakh students in the state who lack adequate facilities to access the online education programme. A majority of these children are likely to be from the homes of Kudumbashree members.

The KSFE will start a saving scheme of Rs.15,000 where students can deposit Rs.500 for 30 months. Students joining the scheme and successfully paying Rs.500 for 3 months will be given laptops worths Rs.15,000 as loan by Kerala State Financial Enterprise . while the government will bear 5% of the loan interest, the KSFE will bear 4%.

The laptop will be procured from the agencies empaneled by KSFE to provide Laptop at concessional rate. A member who joins the scheme will get Rs.14,250 after deducting the commission. KSFE Laptop Payment Instalment Procedure 2024

• The beneficiaries should pay the monthly installment of Rs.500 for 30 days
• The beneficiaries should pay the 1st 10 installment without any delay, then the KSFE will reward them with Rs.500 for next month
• KSFE will also pay Rs.1500/- to the beneficiaries who will pay their installments at time
• KSFE will distribute the money to the beneficiaries to needed to purchase a laptop in the 3rd month of joining the Kerala Chitty 2020
