Kashiram Awas Yojana in Uttar Pradesh to be Started Again

Uttar Pradesh government has decided to complete the incomplete construction of houses under Kashiram Awas Yojana in UP. Yogi government has taken a decision to fulfil the dream of those people, who had not availed the benefits of Kashiram Awas Yojana, by completing the construction of houses under the scheme.

The scheme was closed earlier but the yogi government has taken a step towards completing the project.

As per the information received from the source, the houses will allotted within one month after completing the project. Regarding the matter, the government has directed all the development authorities and concerned departments.

On 2nd June 2008, the scheme was launched by BSP government on the name of respected Shri Kashiram, with the name “Shri Kashiram Shehri Garib Awas Yojana”. But later in 2012, Supremo Mayawati’ government stopped the dream project.

Awas Vikas Parishad and Housing Board has reported the government that stopping the scheme will cost a big loss of money. On the matter, the government issued the direction to continue the construction of houses whose construction is completed to plinth area and directed to stop the remaining project.
