Kanpur Development Authority Shatabdi Nagar Affordable Housing Scheme 2015

Kanpur Development Authority, on the eve of Republic Day of India has launched a new affordable housing scheme in Shatabdi Nagar offering 7360 Sulabh Awas flats. The flats in affordable housing scheme in Shatabdi Nagar are divided into 3 categories based on the area. These three categories are Sulabh Awas Type 1, Sulabh Awas Type 2 and Sulabh Awas Type 3.

There are 2BHK (G+3) flats in Sulabh Awas Type 1 while Sulabh Awas Type 2 and Type 3 offers 3BHK (G+3) flats. The area of Type 1, type 2 and type 3 flats is 61.25 Sq. mt., 34.60 sq. mt. and 29.45 sq. mt respectively.

Registrations for the new affordable housing scheme will open on 29 January 2015 and the last date of registration would be 20 March. The applications will be invited through offline modes and the application forms and scheme brochures can be obtained from the designate bank branches in the city.

Below are the details of offered three types of flats
Sulabh Awas Type 1 Flats
There area a total of 1216 flats in Sulabh Awas Type 1, 304 on each floor. Type one flats are the largest flats being offered under the scheme with an area of 61.25 square meters. The 3BHK flats comprises of 3 Bedrooms, 1 Hall, Kitchen and 2 Bathrooms/Toilet. The tentative cost of flats at ground floor is Rs. 20,00,000/- while on rest of the upper floors the tentative cost is Rs. 16,00,000/-.

Registration amount: 1,60,000/-
Application form fee: Rs. 525/-

Sulabh Awas Type 2 Flats
2016 flats (504 on each floor) are there in the Sulabh Awas Type 2 comprising of 2 bedrooms, Kitchen, and one bathroom/toilet. The tentative area of Type 2 flats is 34.60 square meters. The tentative cost of flats at ground floor is Rs. 11,30,000/- while on rest of the upper floors the tentative cost is Rs. 8,80,000/-.

Registration amount: 90,000/-
Application form fee: Rs. 325/-

Sulabh Awas Type 3 Flats
The affordable housing scheme in Shatabdi Nagar offers highest number of Type 1 flats with 1032 flats on each floor of a Ground + 3 structure. There are a total of 4128 flats being offered comprising of 2 bedrooms, Kitchen, and one bathroom/toilet with tentative area of 29.45 square meters. The tentative cost of flats at ground floor is Rs. 7,00,000/- while on rest of the upper floors the tentative cost is Rs. 6,00,000/-.

Registration amount: 60,000/-
Application form fee: Rs. 210/-

How to Apply?
The application forms and scheme brochures can be purchased from the above listed bank branches for each type of flats by paying the application form fee. The registration amount has to be paid in Cash or Via DD in favor of Kanpur Development Authority. The dully signed and filled application forms can be submitted in the same bank branch.

The application forms and scheme brochures will also be available on Master Plans India or the official website of KDA at www.kdaindia.co.in from the start date of registration. In case of downloading, the applicants will have to pay application fee via DD in favor of Kanpur Development Authority.

Finance facility for paying the registration amount and home loan is available for the applicants through various banks.

The detailed terms and conditions will be available in the scheme brochure.

Draw Result
The draw result of the scheme will be announced in the last week of April 2015. The exact date of the draw will be announced few days before.
