Kanpur Development Authority to Launch 4 Housing Schemes

Kanpur Development Authority or KDA is all set to bring in the infrastructure development projects worth Rs. 300 Crore including at least 4 housing schemes in different areas of the city.

The final decision on sanctioning of the new projects will be taken during the board meeting to be held on 6th June, i.e. next month.

The proposed projects included the construction of residential colonies, EWS flats, and multi-level parking lots, and beautification of Bal Udyan, Gautam Budh Park and Ekta park.

The 3 residential housing projects to be launched by the authority will be KDA Heights, KDA Dreams and KDA Greens. The authority has designated Rs. 150 Crore for these three projects. Rs. 20 Crore will be spent on EWS flats construction at Jawaharpuram and Rs. 20 Crore on the beautification of 3 parks across the city.

The authority also plans to construct Multi-level parking at Canal Patri and Phoolbagh and renovate more than 100 local roads within the city.
