J&K Cabinet Approved Jammu Master Plan 2032

Jammu Master Plan 2032: The cabinet of Jammu & Kashmir has approved the Jammu Master Plan-2032. The new master plan will be spread over the an area of 652.33 sq km, including the whole Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).

The draft master plan is available on the official website of Jammu Development Authority.

Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti chaired the cabinet yesterday and approved the Jammu Master Plan, 2032.

According to the information received from the source, ​currently Jammu Master Plan-2021 is in use, which was prepared in 2004 for an estimated population of 19.29 lakh covering an area of 305 sq km.

Keeping eye on all the development and population requirement in the Jammu city, the government has formulated revised master plan for upto year 2032. The plan also has the points of spreading the physical limit of Jammu city upto Bishnah and Samba.

Revised Jammu Master Plans will cover the Jammu Local Planning Area upt the limits of 652.33 sq km, including the whole JMC, municipal committees of Ghomanhasan, Bishnah MC, Bari Brahmana MC and Vijaypur.

​The total villages included in the revised JMP will be 324, including the 103 villages of extended local area of JDA.
