Jharkhand Farm Loan Waiver Scheme 2024 (झारखण्ड कृषि ऋण माफी योजना) has been launched by the Jharkhand state government on 1 February 2021. In Jharkhand Krishi Rin Mafi Yojana, the state govt. will waive loans of farmers upto Rs. 50,000 per farmer. CM Hemant Soren has allocated a provisional sum of Rs. 2,000 crore for this Farmer Loan Waiver Scheme. Jharkhand Agriculture Loan Waiver Scheme Latest Update Jharkhand government on 17 June 2021 (Thursday) said it has waived off loans worth Rs 980 crore of 2.46 lakh farmers in the state so far and is committed to their welfare. Chief minister Hemant Soren on completion of one-year of his government on 29 December 2020 had officially announced the farm loan waiver scheme. In the first phase, the government has decided to waive farm loans up to Rs 50,000.
The state government is committed to loan waiver of the farmers. Jharkhand Agriculture Loan Waiver Scheme is one of the important schemes of our government. This scheme has brought happiness on the face of those farmers who were under debt. Jharkhand government had announced loan waiver in the budget and work is on to take the scheme forward.
The government has waived off loans of 2,46,012 farmers so far. A total amount of Rs 980.06 crore has been given in the loan waiver of farmers. Banking correspondents will also be engaged to expedite the scheme and urged farmers to link their accounts with Aadhaar by visiting banks.
The state govt. is even set to replace PM Kisan Bima Yojna with the state’s own Fasal Rahat Yojana (to be launched) and has earmarked Rs. 100 crore for this scheme. Step 2 : At home page, click at the “Beneficiary Registration” tab present in the main menu or direct link

Step 3 : The Jharkhand Krishi Rin Mafi Yojana registration form will open, fill all details asked in beneficiary form.
Step 4 : Candidates can click at the “Login” tab present in the main menu of the jharkhand Krishi rin mafi yojana as shown below.
As the applicant are invited through CSCs or Banks or other modes, so it must be selected. Then username and password must be entered to make login.
Jharkhand Krishi Rin Mafi Yojana Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be a permanent resident of Jharkhand state.
- Applicant seeking loan waiver from Jharkhand govt. must be a ryot – farmer who perform agricultural activities on their land on their own. Even non-ryots i.e farmers who perform agricultural activities on other’s land are included.
- Farmer must be at-least 18 years of age.
- Applicant farmer must possess a valid aadhaar number.
- Farmer must be a valid ration card holder in the Jharkhand state.
- Only 1 farmer from a family who has taken crop loan would be eligible.
- Applicant must be a Kisan Credit Card (KCC) holder.
- He must have taken short term loans from banks for farming and related activities only.
- Jharkhand farm loan waiver scheme only covers those farmers who had availed loans from banks till 31 March 2020.
- Only those farmers having valid proof of taking loan (loan documents) of the banks would be eligible.

The farmers will have to submit their ration card and Aadhar numbers linked to banks to which the loan amount will be transferred under direct benefit transfer upon completion of KYC in concerned bank branch and verification on mobile phone. The farmers have to provide their mobile number and Re 1 token money with the application.
Jharkhand Kisan Krishi Rin Mafi Yojana List 2024 at Portal
As of now, farmers who have linked their Aadhaar cards with their bank accounts will get the benefits. The state govt. of Jharkhand is going to cover 9 lakh farmers. While 6 lakh farmers have their bank accounts seeded with Aadhaar cards, the identification and seeding of the remaining three lakh farmers are underway. The scheme is online and covers those farmers who had availed loans from banks till 31 March 2020. According to the plan, details of the farmers, their loan amounts and th e bank branches concerned will be uploaded on a portal developed by the National Informatics Centre. Based on the portal, deputy commissioners of all districts will be asked to identify the farmers and verify their identities and claims. The waiver will be extended to one person from a household. Once their credentials are verified, the farmers will need to deposit Re 1 as a security fee at the nearest Pragya Kendra (common service centre) or their parent branch.
