After receiving applications for JDA new plot and flat scheme 2015, Jaipur Development Authority has planning to launch new plot scheme in Zone 14. This time JDA will come with 2,650 plots in Dev Vihar.

According to the source the units under the scheme will be available at the reserved price of Rs. 6,500 per square meter. In the recently launched scheme of JDA in Dev VIhar, total 2625 flats were available for registration, out of which 284 units are 200 square meter size.
Along with this housing units, the JDA will also develop 435 plots in zone 12 over the land 42-bigha. The reserved price in Zone 12 will be Rs. 8,000/- per square meter.
The authority had launched recently its residential plot scheme at multiple location and these schemes are Uday Vihar, Abhinav Vihar, Rohini Enclave and Surya Nagar. However the authority failed to attract more applicants for investing in plot scheme of JDA. In the above four scheme, total 2281 plots were available for registrations.
In Last year’s scheme, the JDA had launched bunch of 21 housing schemes and the scheme had also comprised of bigger plots of size 160 square meter and 250 square meter. However, the authority had also failed to sell bigger size plots and about 70% of the successful applicants had refused to buy the plots due to higher reserved price. It is believed by residents that reserved price is higher as comparison to the market price.
A property dear, Mr. Vinod Mittal told the media that “The plots measuring equal to or less than 90 square metres are allotted on comparatively lesser reserve price. The plot measuring between 90 square metres and 160 square metres are allotted on the same reserve price while 260-square-metre plots were allotted on a higher reserve price. This is the reason why buyers are apprehensive of purchasing bigger plots”.
