Jaipur Development Authority is not receiving a good response from the general public for its latest housing schemes launched in August 2015. The authority has received only 1506 applications for 5266 plots and 966 applications for 621 flats in first 19 days.
The applications for the two schemes are being invited through online modes since 15 August. JDA is offering EWS, LIG & MIG-A Flats under Affordable Housing Policy 2009 AND EWS, LIG Flats of Niji Khatedar Approved Schemes under Rajasthan Township Policy 2010.
There are 19 schemes in total where 621 flats are being offered by the authority. JDA is also offering 5266 residential plots in 6 different housing schemes named as Gagan Vihar, Dev Vihar, Surya Nagar (Block A), Udai Vihar, Abhinav Vihar Vistar and Rohini Enclave.

The reason behind the so poor response seems to be the high reserved price of plots.
