Haryana Urban Development Authority has issued a notice to the applicants of its Karnal Plot Scheme for which the draw is pending. HUDA is refunding the registration amount of the Karnal plot scheme with 5.5% Interest.
The plot scheme in Karnal offered 354 freehold residential plots (excluding the handicapped and blind category plots) in Sector-32 (Part) and 781 freehold residential plots in Sector-33 (Part) in the range of 90, 135, 162, 220 square meters (10 Marla), 324 square meters (14 Marla), and 450 square meters (1 Kanal) area. The scheme was floated from 12th March to 28 March. The last date was later extended to 30th May 2014.
The draw of Karnal plot scheme was scheduled to held on 24 November 2014 but postponed due to the stay put by Hon’ble High Court vide interim order dated 21-11-2014 in CWP No. 23952 of 2014 titled as Harpreet Singh and Others Vs HUDA.
The applicants who wish to get their refund can submit an application to Estate Officer Karnal. The refund will be paid along with an interest of 5.5% from the date of closure of the scheme i.e. 30 may 2014 till the actual payment date.

The applicants who wish to wait for the draw will also be paid an interest of 5.5% on the earnest money from 1 December 2014, i.e. 6 months after the closure of the draw.

Hi Kimi Thanks a lot for sharing the information regarding karnal refund, but I have sent a withdrawal Application for refund along with other required documents i.e. one cancelled cheque of the a/c from which the payment is made to Huda and acknowledgement copy of payment made to Huda on 15th Jan, 2015 but still waiting for my refund is there any timeframe for the refund. In case of credit card, what proof is to be sent alongwith withdrawl of refund to Huda Karnal. One cancelled cheque of a/c from which the payment is made to huda suggested by you.

my application for refund was sent on dec.31,2014 and was received by huda karnal on jan.05,2015. so u can calculate their response time in general and guess your approx refund date.

good news, CHANDIGARH: Punjab and Haryana high court, on Thursday, vacated the stay on holding the draw of plots in sectors 32 and 33 of Karnal developed by Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA).
While vacating the stay, the high court has made it clear that HUDA authorities could hold the draw of lots within 15 days. The draw was scheduled for November 24, 2014 but it was cancelled because of litigation by landowners in the high court. Around 1.2 lakh people had applied for 1,135 plots in the two sectors. HUDA had reportedly collected around Rs 170 crore as the application fee and earnest money. ~Times of india news paper~

i applied through axis bank for karnal huda scheme(2014) who’s draw is postponed.axis bank is asking for interest.shall i pay interest or withdraw application.
