Along with a new flat scheme for BPL families, the Housing Board Haryana also invites applications for registration of 9827 flats at various locations in Haryana under a new EWS flat scheme. The housing board is offering Ground Stilts and Three Storyed residential flats under the new scheme for Economically Weaker Section of the society.
The registrations for the scheme will start on 22 December 2014 and the last date would be 21 February 2015. The application forms and the scheme brochure can be purchased from the designate bank branches across Haryana from 22 December at the non refundable cost of Rupees 150/-.
Under the new scheme, the housing board is offering EWS flats in Hisar sector 5 and 12 in Part 2, Jagadhari sector 22 and 24, Karnal sector 9 and 22, Fatehabad sector 9, Agroha sector 6 and Safidon sector 9. Below is the list of bank branches where the application forms can be purchased and submitted. The detailed information about the new EWS scheme will also be made live on official website www.hbh.nic.in of housing board on 22 December.

- Corporation Bank: SCO 23, Sector 16
- Union bank of India: SCO 387, Sector 8
and Andhra Bank, SCO 357, Sector 44D in Chandigarh. These all are the controlling branches and the full list of banks will be published in the scheme brochure.
Buy application forms: The applications forms and brochures for EWS scheme can be purchased from any bank branch of the above listed banks in Haryana.
Application forms can also be bought from the the office of Haryana Housing Board at C-15, Awas Bhawan, Sector 6 Panchkula and Housing Board Executive Engineer office in Karnal, Gurgaon, Rohtak and Faridabad.

Eligibility criteria
The annual income of interested EWS applicants should not exceed Rs. 1 Lakh per annum to be eligible for the scheme.
