Green House Scheme in Telangana – 322 Houses Allotted in Kanniyakumari District

Green House Scheme: Telangana Government has allotted 322 houses for Kanniyakumari district under Green House Scheme 2016-17. It is the ambitious housing scheme of state government under which the government provides assistance for constructing houses and to plant a solar power.

According to the information received from the sources, a special gram sabha meeting will be organised to finalise the beneficiaries from all the 95 village panchayats an the meeting would be chaired by Collector Sajjansingh R. Chavan.

Benefits of Green House Scheme in Telangana:
Under the scheme, a sum of Rs. 2.10 lakh would be provided to the beneficiary of the scheme. Of total amount, Rs. 1.80 lakh will be for construction and Rs. 30,000 for solar power installation.

To take the benefits of the scheme the beneficiary should live in the concerned panchayat and should have at least 300 square feet patta land in his name.

The beneficiary should not have a Pucca (Concrete) house in the panchayat.
