After launching the Indirapuram Housing Scheme, Ghaziabad Development Authority has come up with another scheme for economically weaker section and the lower income group of the society. The authority is offering a total of 1979 multi-storey flats in the developed areas for EWS and LIG.
The flats are being developed by the private developers and the applications for the GDA scheme are being invited through online mode only from 1st November 2014. The last date of registration is 31 December 2014 and the draw of the scheme is expected to be held within next 6 months. The code of the scheme is 002.

The authority is offering 990 EWS flats with a minimum 25 square meter area and 989 LIG flats with minimum area of 35 square meter. The estimated cost of EWS and LIG flats is Rs. 3,90,000 and Rs. 8,40,000 respectively.
The applicants can visit www.gdaghaziabad.com to fill the online applications and the applicants will have to upload the scan copy of the photograph, signature and the documents. The list of documents required will be displayed to the applicant upon selecting the category on website.
The registration amount for EWS and LIG flats is Rs. 10,050 and Rs. 20,050 respectively which can be paid online through credit/debit card or net-banking. In case the applicant has no facility to pay the amount online, it can be deposited in any branch of ICICI bank throughout India.

ICICI bank is also providing the loan facility for this scheme and the interested candidates can contact at 9540973521 regarding the same.
Eligibility Criteria
The annual income of the EWS applicants should not exceed Rs 1,20,000/- while the annual income for LIG applicants should be less than Rs 2,40,000/-.
Payment Details
The successful candidates will have to pay 20% of the estimated cost of flat within after 2 months of the allotment by cash or through Demand Draft. Rest 80% amount can be paid in 15 years 60 quarterly installments with 7.5% interest. If the applicant can pay the full amount of the flat within 60 days after the allotment, he/she will be eligible to avail 5% discount on the cost of the flat.
The registration amount of the unsuccessful applicants will be refunded within 30 days after the draw.

After filling the application form through GDA website, you need to opt for offline payment, you need to print the GDA Challan copy and get the DD made of amount mentioned in the GDA challan, DD should me made in favor of ” Vice-Chairman, GDA ” and it should be payable at Ghaziabad, then you need to deposit the DD with the GDA challan copy in any ICICI bank, bank will keep stamp all the three copy of GDA challan, bank will keep one copy of the Challan and balance two copy it will return to you, then you need to scan the balance two Copy of GDA challan and then upload it in the application form.
