DMRC Housing Scheme 2017 – The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is going to launch his first housing project which to be unveiled in month of May. Delhi Metro Housing Scheme 2017 will be launched in near Okhla and Janakpuri (west) metro stations.
Earlier, the housing projects were constructed in Shastri Park, Yamuna Bank and Pushp Vihar only for metro staff but this time, the DMRC has all set to launch its first housing project for general public.
Number of Flats & Location
As per the information, the DMRC new project will come out with about 550 flats of 2BHK and 3BHK types. Of total, 460 flats will be available in Janakpuri project and remaining 90 units will be available in Okhla project. And 15% of the total flats in the projects will be reserved for EWS (economically weaker section) category.
As per the information received from the source, a Floor Area Ratio (FAR) of 400 has been approved under the TOD policy. And this would enable DMRC constructing high rises flats in these areas.
Cost:
DMRC housing scheme 2017 will have 2BHK and 3BHK flats in Janakpuri and Okhla areas and the cost of these housing units will be in the range of Rs. 60 lakh to Rs. 1.20 crore.
Booking & Registration of Delhi Metro Flats
The brochure and application forms for registration and booking of DMRC flats would be rolled out in next month, May 2017. And DMRC promises to deliver these flats by 2019. The booking process of these flats would be started soon.
Allotment Process
The allotment of flats will be done through the same process which is used by DDA, draw of lots. For registration, applicants need to pay a booking amount and if he/she got unsuccessful they the registration amount will be refunded.
