Tamil Nadu Housing Board invites applications for the demand survey of TNHB New Housing Scheme 2016. The scheme is located at Ayyappakkam, Ambathur Phase-I, II Scheme Chennai. Under the scheme the authority has offering two and three bedroom flats for lower income group, medium income group and higher income group of the society.
Under this demand survey, TNHB has offering 660 flats, of which 16 flats are available for HIG, 308 are for MIG and remaining 336 are available for LIG group. These flats are available in Stilt+4 type building.

How to Apply:
Application form for the same can be purchased from the Office of Executive Engineer & Administrative Officer, J.J. Nagar Division, Tamil Nadu Housing Board, TNHB Shopping Complex, 3rd Floor, Thirumangalam, Chennai-600 101. The application form to be submitted at the same venue with the initial amount. The initial amount to the submitted int the form of Demand draft in favor of the Executive Engineer & Administrative Officer, J.J. Nagar Division, TNHB, Chennai-101, Payable at Chennai.
If applications received are more than the number of units proposed, allotment will be made by drawal of lot. Unsuccessful applicants can get their 5% Initial deposit fully. If selected applicant withdrawn their allotment, 0.5% of the total amount paid (or) Rs.10,000/-, Whichever is higher will be forfeited and the balance amount will be refunded to the allottee. The Selling Price is Tentative.
Payment Procedure:
Selected applicants should pay 5% of amount within 21 days from the date of the receipt of the allotment order.
Balance 90% payment to be remitted as detailed below:
- 25% of cost of the flat, on commencement of work.
- 20 % of cost of the flat with in next 3 months.
- 10% of cost of the flat with in next 3 months.
- 10 % of cost of the flat with in next 3 months.
- 10 % of cost of the flat with in next 3 months.
- 10 % of cost of the flat with in next 3 months.
- 5 % of cost of the flat will be collected at the time of handing over
Eligibility Criteria for the Scheme:
- Applicant should be belongs to Tamil Nadu and should attained age of 21 years at the time of registration of application.
- Eligibility of Income: HIG-Rs. 37,001 to Rs. 62,000/-MIG-Rs. 18,001/-to Rs. 37,000/-Per Month.
- Eligibility of Income :LIG-Rs. 3,00,000/-Per Annum
