CIDCO to Launch New Housing Scheme in Taloja in 2015-16

CIDCO, City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra is preparing for launch of a new housing scheme in Taloja within the 2015-16 financial year. The authority has included a new housing project in 2015-16 budget. After receiving an overwhelming response to the Kharghar housing scheme in Sector 36, CIDCO has decided to launch anouther housing scheme in 2015-16.

The details of the project such as number of flats, type, price or exact location is not known yet but the project will come into the reality within ongoing financial year.

CIDCO has allocated a major share of 2015-16 budget to the ongoing housing projects in Kharghar. In January 2014, Valleyshilp, a premium Housing Scheme of 1224 apartments was taunched in Seclor 36, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai catering to MIG and HIG.

In August 2014, Swapnapurti Housing Scheme of 3152 tenements was launched in Sector 36, Kharghar in Navi Mumbai for which CIDCO received about 85000/- applications from across the Maharashtra.

CIDCO is constructing affordable homes for economically weaker section, lower income group, middle income group and higher income group in sector 36 in Kharghar for which it has allocated 40% amount of the budget of chief engineer.

The construction of the mass housing project in Sector 36 Kharghar has been delayed because of the delay in environmental clearances. The housing project is now expected to be completed by March 2016.

CIDCO has preparod an action plan to construct 10,000 houses every year catering to all stratums. It has till
date built approximately 1,23,577 houses out of which 51% of the houses are for EWS/LIG, while 26% were
reserved for MIG and 23% for HIG.

Prior to this, CIDCO has fulfilled the dreams of lacs of people by constructing prominent housing projects like Unnati, Seawoods Estate, Millannium Tower, Vastu Vihar etc. CIDCO, in the last 2 years have taken up 4,600 afordable houses for construction.

ln order to meet the fast growing housing demand of various sections of the society, CIDCO has framed its housing policy incorporating self-financing principle using land as a prime resource in development of housing sector. The
Corporation has used load bearing composile masonry involving brick work and RCC mullions. And have also
implemented various emerging technologies like Prefab Channel Slab, 3-S Siporex System, Tunnel Form, advanced Tunnel Form, MIVAN and earthquake resistant technology.

So, the next CIDCO housing lottery 2015-16 is coming soon in Taloja.
