Finally, CIDCO has launched the Kharghar Housing Scheme in Sector 36 in Navi Mumbai. CIDCO has named the scheme Swapnapurti and the applications are invited from 1st August to 5th September 2014.
UPDATE: The lottery draw of the Swapnapurti Kharghar scheme will be announced in the last week of November.
CIDCO is offering a total of 3154 flats in its Kharghar housing scheme and out of which 2450 are 1BHK flats for LIG category and rest 704 are 1BHK flats for the EWS category. The scheme site is located at just 10 minutes from the proposed metro station and 7 kilometers from the Kharghar railway station. Following are the details of CIDCO scheme flats

There are 22 Buildings of 7 floors which are offering 704 flats for Economically Weaker Section while 32 buildings of 15 floors each are offering 2540 flats for Lower Income Group.
Application forms and Booklet
Application forms for the scheme can be purchased at a cost of just Rs. 53 from the following locations
- CIDCO Bhawan, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai
- Marketing manager II, 3rd floor, Raigad Bhawan, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai
- Selected branches of Axis banks in Maharashtra as mentioned in the booklet here: https://cidco.maharashtra.gov.in/
- Across all branches of TJSB
Applications along with the registration fee can be submitted by way of Demand Draft in favor of CIDCO Ltd., payable at Mumbai/Navi Mumbai in any branch of TJSB or Axis bank as on or before September 20th.
Eligibility Criteria
The monthly income of the candidates applying for the EWS scheme should not be more than Rs 16,000/- and for LIT it can be between Rs. 16,001/- to Rs. 40,000/-. A domicile of 15 years in state of Maharashtra is required from every applicant.
If the applicant or any of the family member owns a home/plot in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai can not apply for the scheme. Caste certificate is required from the reserved categories.

Payment should be made in cash/emi.
I’m staying in mumbai from last 25 years. But I don’t have domicile certificate. So I couldn’t apply for this cidco home scheme.
