City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Limited (CIDCO) is all set to launch its housing scheme in Khargahr, Navi Mumbai for the EWS and LIG category today. CIDCO housing lottery 2014 will offer a total of 3294 housed for the economically weaker section and lower income group of the society.

CIDCO will inaugurate its exhibition center today and will launch the housing scheme. Similar to the High valley HIG and MIG scheme, the homes will be allotted through the lottery system in the Kharghar scheme. Out of the total 3294 flats 704 will be allotted to the EWS and rest 2590 will be allotted to the LIG category. There is a 5% reservation for the member of parliament (MP’s), Members of the Legislative Councils (MLCs) and Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs). Under the scheme there is 5% reservation for each Journalist’s living in Navi Mumbai and the project affected people.
The cost of CIDCO EWS flats in Sector 36, Kharghar is expected to be Rs. 15,78300 while LIG flats will cost 23,93,000. 28.55 square meter and 34.36 square meter is the area for the EWS and LIG respectively.
The application forms for the registration in the schemes will be available from 22nd July online.
