Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme in Punjab for Meritorious & Poor Students

Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme (CMSS) is a newly launched scholarship scheme initiative for providing financial assistance to meritorious & poor students. CM Captain Amrinder Singh launched Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme 2017 for the students of colleges, class 10th and 12th with the purpose the students can take education without worrying about their tuition fees.

Under chief minister scholarship scheme in Punjab, fee waiver will be provided to the students on the basis on marks percentage obtained in the exams.

CM Scholarship Scheme 2017 – Online Application & Registration

Students living in Punjab and willing to apply for scholarship scheme running by state government, can go to official website at punjabscholarships.gov.in, however the process of online application and registration for chief minister scholarship scheme 2017 has not been started yet. Students studying in below institutes would be able to get scholarship amount under CMSS Punjab.

  • Government polytechnic colleges, Punjab
  • Government engineering colleges, Punjab
  • College affiliated to Maharaja Ranjit Singh University, Bhatinda
  • College affiliated to I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar

Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme – Percentage for Fee Waive/ Scholarship

The initiative will help the poor students, who are good in studies but weak financially, to take higher education. Apart from Punjab, the Chief Minister Scholarship scheme is also running in other states including, Rajasthan, Gujarat and West Bengal etc. The scheme will soon start benefits the students of Punjab state.
