Chandigarh Housing Board has decided to launch a new housing scheme at Sector-51 Chandigarh for allotment of 200 flats. According to the sources, the new scheme of CHB will be launched on 1st April 2016, however in the earlier news, it was mentioned that 128 flats will be offered in the scheme.

According to the sources, these flats will be available in 4 storey building with parking and other basic facilities. The cost of flat will be around Rs. 69 lakh.
The flats in the CHB New Scheme 2016 will comprise of living/dining room, two bedrooms, balconies, kitchen, store, dress space and two toilets. A provision of lift has also been made by the authority. The size of flats will be approx. 1054 square feet. CHB is using latest technology and modern design for the construction of these flats.
It is the most awaited scheme of CHB which may be launched tomorrow with 200 flats at sector-51 for all segments of the society. After the year 2008, CHB had not offered a single flats in its schemes and the new scheme is a hope for those who are seeking a house in Chandigarh Area.
In the last scheme in 2008, around 2100 flats were offered for allotment in comparison to that the flats in proposed CHB new scheme in Sector-51 are quite less.
