A lottery draw date for CHB Flat Scheme 2016 has been announced. According to the source, Chandigarh Housing Board has announced a date for conducting lottery draw result of CHB housing scheme 2016 for 200 flats and the draw result will be held on 30 June 2016.
CHB has offered 200 2-bedroom flats under self-financing scheme 2016 at Sector-51 and the board has received low response from the people for this scheme.

For 200 flats, the board has received only 225 applications and under this scheme, 50 flats reserved under quota for which only 25 people applied.
According to the statement of board, the 25 flats from the quota will be transferred to the lottery, will be held on 30 June for 175 flats. Now only 25 flats will be remaining for those who applied for quota flats.
Under the scheme, the cost of flat is around Rs. 69 lakh and due to the reason of high price, the board got very low response from the people. After the draw, the applicants have to submit the complete amount within three months, is also the reason behind the low response.
The area of flat available in the scheme is around 10.73 square feet and each floor comprise of 50 units. Each floor comprises of dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms, dressing room and store room and toilets are attached in rooms.
