Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation is going to start applications for prime ministers ambitious affordable housing, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in odisha. And BMC has all set to go for the PMAY applications, as the scheme is launching in Odisha from 4 June 2017.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Odisha
It was decided in the meeting organized for launching the scheme in the state. The decision of organizing camps for PMAY in Odisha was also taken in meeting. As per the information, the camps will be organized in all 67 wards & help desk will be formulated in offices each zone for receiving the applications form for PMAY.
BMC Commissioner, Krishan Kumar, chaired the meeting and informed about the scheme. As per the information, the applicants who does not have any house in the country would be eligible to get the PMAY benefit. And household annual income should be less than Rs. 2.16 lakh. And for constructing houses under BLC component of PMAY, minimum area of 25 square meter and the those beneficiary fall in the eligibility, will be entitled with Rs. 2 lakh.
PMAY Odisha – List of Programs
- Awareness program for PMAY: 1st June 2017.
- Organization of Camps for PMAY: 4th – 12th June 2017.
- Receiving Application Forms: 12th – 21st June 2017.
- Releasing PMAY Applicant List: 22nd – 30th June 2017 (The list will be available in BMC Office, Zonal Office & Other Locations)
Final list of PMAY eligible beneficiaries will be released will be from 10th – 17th July 2017. And the list be passed from bench of BMC Council Meeting and after approval it would be forwarded to the Department of State Housing & Urban Development.
The process of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in odisha will be completed by 25th July 2017.
