After a wait of eight years, Chandigarh Housing Board has come up with new housing scheme at Sector-51A for the allotment of 200 flats under Self Financing Scheme. Today, CHB officially launched its New Scheme 2016 for allotment of flats and registrations of flats are opened till 7 May 2016.

Under the new scheme of CHB, 200 flats are available for allotment in a size of 1073 square feet. The cost of a single unit is Rs. 69 lakh and these housing units are available in two sub scheme. Under the Sub-Scheme-A, 150 units are available for general public and in Sub-Scheme-B, 50 units are offered by the authority under Assured Allotment Scheme (First Floor Only).

Under the scheme, the authority has offering 2BHK flat and each floor offering drawing, dinning, kitchen, two bedroom attached toilet, dressing room and store with three balcony and Lift will also be available in each floor.

Applications for the allotment of flats are being offered through offline mode of registration. Interested applicants can apply for the scheme by purchasing the application form from the authorized bank branches.

How to Apply?
Interested applicant can apply for the scheme by obtaining the application form from the bank branches mentioned below. Duly filled application form to be submitted along the registration amount of Rs. 6.90 lakh. The remaining 90 percent amount to be submitted within 90 days. And at the time of possession Rs. 50,000 to also be submitted in the account of Residential Welfare Association.

The brochure is currently not available online and will be available from 8 April and online forms can be filled by the interested applicants thereafter.

  • Axis Bank Sector-9
  • ICICI Bank Sector-9
  • Allahabad Bank Sector-17
  • Punjab and Sind Bank Sector-11
  • IndusInd Bank Sector-8

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicant should be a resident of UT.
The scheme is available only for those who are living within the 25 Kilometer circle of Tricity

Important Dates:
Scheme Starts: 01 April 2016
Scheme Closes: 7 May 2016
