AP Annadatha Sukhibhava Scheme to Provide Financial Support to Farmers

The state government of Andhra Pradesh has started a new scheme for farmers named AP Annadatha Sukhibhava scheme to provide financial support to the farmers of the state. The state finance minister, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu declared that Rs. 5,000 crore would be  set apart for Annadata Sukhibhava.

However, the details of the scheme has not been announced and the government will announce the details later after the official implementation of the scheme. Ramakrisshnudu said that the state economy was poised to grow at 11.5 percent in 2018-19 against the national growth of 7.2 percent.

The Andhra Pradesh government has not revealed the complete details of this scheme but as this scheme would be implemented officially then the guidelines will also be revealed. This scheme is announced in the AP budget 2019-20 which leads to provide economic support to the farmers of the state. As per the resources this has been decided by the state govt. that the small and marginal farmers will be the beneficiaries of this scheme.

The state government of Andhra Pradesh has allocated Rs. 5000 crore under for this scheme out of Rs. 12000 crore which has been allotted for agriculture sector in the state Andhra Pradesh. The government has also enhanced input subsidies for paddy, sugarcane, cotton and groundnut crops form Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 8333 to Rs. 12,500 pulses and sunflower crops from Rs. 6,250 to Rs, 10,000.

This newly launched scheme named Annadata Sukhibhava 2019 as well as enhanced iput subsidies will benefit around 39.33 Lakh farmers.

The AP government has already implemented debt redemption scheme with an outlay of Rs. 24.000 crore to reduce the burden on the farmers. The state government has already released 3 installments out of the 5 installments under the debt waiver scheme. AP government has promised that the final 2 installments are also going to be credited into the farmers accounts shortly. The state government has also credite Rs. 5384 crore into the loan accounts of the farmers for horticulture debt redemption.
