Anil Garg has officially took a charge of the post of CEO of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, after IAS officer Santosh Yadav has relieved from his post. The 1996 Batch IAS officer was till now holding the position of Secretary (Higher Education), Lucknow.
This is a second stint of Anil Garg in Gautam Budh Nagar District, earlier he was posted as Additional SEO of Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) from November 2005 to May 2007. On Monday, Garg met the chairperson of Noida, GNIDA, and YEIDA, Mr. Rama Raman at his camp officiate at sector 14A, Noida. After taking officially charge from the chairperson, he proceeded to YEIDA.
The team of official of YEIDA had welcomed their new CEO, at where Garg held an informal meeting with his staff. He was later briefed by senior officials of Yeida including the Additional CEO Arunvir Singh, Finance Controller G.P Singh and officials from the Planning department about several issues plaguing the Yeida area. And further Mr. Garg said to media that it was too soon for him to comment and I need to understand the problems and issues related to Yeida first and in detail before I work out my priority schedule.
According to the source the regional development of the area of YEIDA would certainly be part of the new CEO’s agenda. It would be a challenge to undertake the dues of YEIDA’s allottees. Other areas where Garg would need to stress for solutions would be on implementation of the policies of the government besides tackling peoples’ and farmers’ problems.
