250 Affordable Housing Projects to be Launched by CREDAI Members in India

The member of CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India) are planning to launch a bunch of affordable housing projects across India. As per the guidelines laid down by CREDAI, these projects will be launched under the purview of the various CREDAI state or city chapters.

These projects of CREDAI member will enable consumers as well as its member developers to take benefit of various government housing schemes. And it will also help to bridged up the shortage of affordable housing in the country.

For the implementation of these affordable housing projects, CREDIA has created the a plan which would help to accelerate the segment. As per the information received from the source, CREDAI is planning to add more affordable housing projects under this programme and 250 projects is just the beginning.

These projects will be spread over 100 tier I, II and III cities across the country and have either applied for approvals or already received the same. As per the expectations, the construction of these housing projects will be completed in 3.5 years.

After agriculture, the real estate sector is the second largest employer in the country, creating more than 45 million jobs either directly or indirectly. Affordable housing segment is expected to become a key job creator in the sector.

Member and developer of CREDAI are being mobilised to join the ‘Housing for All’ mission of central government.
