12 Mini Smart Cities in Madhya Pradesh to be Developed by Government

The state government of Madhya Pradesh will develop 12 mini smart cities in MP as an initiative towards Smart City Mission. Under the Mini Smart City Scheme, 12 towns will be selected from all across the state and these towns will be transformed on the lines of smart city.

Maihar in Satna district, is the first town to be chosen for the mini smart city project and the list of remaining 11 cities will be announced in the month of November which to be selected on the guidelines of Smart City Mission.

Under the Chief Minister Infrastructure Development Scheme, the government has earmarked about Rs 300 crore to transform these 12 towns into mini-smart cities. Under the mission, each municipality will get a grant of Rs. 25 crores for the development of these cities.

  • Siwani
  • Nagada
  • Mandsor
  • Nicham
  • Pithampur
  • Hoshangabad
