11299 Beneficiaries Selected for PM Awas Yojana in Barabanki

Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 11,299 beneficiaries have been selected for Barabanki district for providing affordable housing units. Working progress for providing houses under the scheme is on its rapid stage.

According to the information, the list of beneficiaries has also been verified and the amount for constructing house under PM Awas Yojana to be distributed by the end of December 2016.

Under the scheme, 90 days of wages to be provided under MGNREGA. Besides this, the beneficiary will also get a Rs. 12,000 for the construction of toilet.

Under Indira Awas Yojana, Rs. 75,000 were given to the beneficiary while under PM Awas Yojana, the beneficiary will get an amount of Rs. 1.20 lakh for constructing a house which will include hall, kitech and room.

40-50K Beneficiary will get benefits of PMAY.

The list of beneficiary is being created with the help of internet. The list is being covering around 40 to 50 beneficiary from a single Gram Panchayat.

70,588 eligible applicants found from 1169 Gram Panchayat. These beneficiary selected on 13 eligibility criteria basis.
Eligibility Criteria,
The applicants should not have two wheeler or four wheeler vehicle, Tractor-Troully and government job. Registered firm, income tax payee, professional tax payee are also not eligible for the scheme.
Applicants using Landline phone, Fridge in house are not eligible for the scheme.

The list of beneficiary is selected from the SECC-2011. The source informed that 11,299 beneficiaries selected under PM Awas Yojana and the assistance for constructed houses under the scheme is expected to be distributed from December 2016.
