Urban Housing Scheme in Vijayawada for 1,20,000 Houses in 38 Towns

Urban Housing Scheme, an ambitious housing scheme has been launched for he urban poor in Vijayawada. For providing houses to urban poor, today, the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of Andhra Pradesh launched Urban Housing Scheme in Vijayawada.

In the occasion, CM said that the urban housing scheme is being implemented to 1,20,000 houses in 38 towns for the poor living in urban areas. And the permission for the scheme has already been given by the government.

Meanwhile, he said that the government is planning to add another 38,000 houses under the running scheme and the construction work of these houses to be completed in next 2 years.

Earlier government has not completed the task of providing houses to poor and not utilized the funds for implementing the housing projects for poor. Chief Minister said that the TDP government is focusing on enabling the availability of commodities within the society.

Elaborating further, Chandrababu said that the govt is planning to construct shops for the convenience of the people and also provide employment in the society.
